How to make a word search

1. Type your words, one per line or separated by commas. Spaces and accents are removed.
2. Pick a grid from 8 × 8 to 20 × 20 and a difficulty.
3. Press Make a new puzzle for a different layout, then Print. Tick Show the answers and print again for the answer key.

Choosing the difficulty

• Easy: words run left to right and top to bottom. Good for young children.
• Medium: adds diagonals.
• Hard: all eight directions, including backwards.

Good to know

• The puzzle is made in your browser. Your words are not sent anywhere.
• The web address keeps your words and layout, so you can bookmark or share the exact same puzzle.
• Longer words need a bigger grid. If a word does not fit, the page tells you which one.
